Headaches
Headaches are a very common condition that most people will experience many times during their lives. The main symptom of a headache is a pain in your head or face. This can be throbbing, constant, sharp or dull. Headaches can be treated with medication, stress management and biofeedback.
Conditions we treat
Memory Problem
Simple forgetfulness (the “missing keys”) and delay or slowing in recalling names, dates, and events can be part of the normal process of aging.
Tremors / Shaking
Tremor is not life threatening. However, it can be embarrassing and even disabling, making it difficult or even impossible to perform work and daily life tasks.
Dizziness / Imbalance
Dizziness is disorientation in space, lightheadedness, or a sense of unsteadiness. It affects your sense of balance and can increase your risk of falling.
Stroke
A stroke, or "brain attack," occurs when a blood vessel in the brain becomes blocked or bursts. The brain cannot store oxygen, so it relies on a network of blood vessels to provide it with blood that is rich in oxygen.
Muscle Weakness
Weakness is reduced strength in one or more muscles. Weakness may be all over the body or in only one area. Weakness may be caused by diseases or conditions affecting many different body systems.
Numbness / Tingling
Numbness is a loss of feeling or sensation in an area of the body. It can be complete or partial. It is usually a sign of a problem with nerves in the body, although it is a common symptom of many different medical conditions.
Seizures
Seizures are symptoms of a brain problem. They happen because of sudden, abnormal electrical activity in the brain.
Neck & Back Pain
Neck pain can last from days to years, depending on the cause. Common causes include osteoarthritis, spinal stenosis, herniated disc, pinched nerve, mental and physical stress and strain, poor posture, tumors and other health conditions.
